Mighty Many Tigers fall to West St. John Rams

Article Image Alt Text

By Daniel Jones, editor
The Many Tiger’s season came to a screeching halt on November 20, as the top-seeded, defending state champions fell to the West St. John Rams.
The game began as Tabarious Garner took the kickoff and went to the far left, only to be upended at the 22-yard line. James Carhee ran for a quick first down and into Ram territory, but it was AJ Carter who ran for another touch down and just kept on going for a 23-yard touchdown run. The point attempt was blocked, which put the Tigers 6-0.
The Tiger defense looked strong, with Alan Warfield almost getting an interception that ultimately helped the Tigers get the ball back.
Damarious Coleman caught a big pass during the next offensive possession, as he was wide open for a touchdown. The Tigers went for two via Carter, which put the score up 14-0.
