Funeral services for Ben Peterson, 83, of Florien, were held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the Festival Grounds in Florien. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Social distancing precautions will be followed. Please bring a mask for indoor use. Please feel free to dress comfortably and bring a lawn chair and a special memory for the outdoor service.

Ben D. Peterson was born on Sunday, September 20, 1936, in Many. He passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Christus Highland Medical Center in Shreveport.

He was preceded in death by his parents, S.D. and Dollie Peterson; sister, Ann Peterson Salter; nephews, Cassell Lehr and Dannon Peterson; and an infant son.

Funeral services for Huey Isgitt, 83, of Many, were held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church with Rev. Howard Pennington officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Huey Isgitt was born on Sunday, February 7, 1937 in Many. He passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at his home in Many. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Quinton Isgitt; father, Anthony Isgitt; mother, Lula Isgitt; brother, Eddie Isgitt; sister-in-law, Shirley Isgitt; nephew, Waylon Isgitt; mother-in-law, Mary Gilliland; father-in-law, John Ebarb, Sr.; and brother-in-law, John Ebarb, Jr.

Funeral services for Robert “Bobby” Allen Craig, 80, of Zwolle, were held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Joseph Ampatt officiating. Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery.

Robert “Bobby” Craig was born on Saturday, June 1, 1940 in Zwolle. He passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020 in Zwolle.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cleveland Craig and Alma Dearman; siblings, Homer Craig; Wilmon Craig; Melovine King; Bessie Wilson; Etna Ramsey; Waple Dick Craig; Eloise Ebarb; Carrie Addington; Evon Youngblood; and Huey Craig.

A graveside service celebrating the life of Mrs. Bobbie Ann Ezernack were held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with Rev. Francis Kamau officiating. Bobbie Ann Rivers Ezernack was born September 15, 1943 in Zwolle to Robert Otis Rivers and Elzado (Sepulvado) Rivers and entered into rest on August 1, 2020 in Shreveport. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a faithful lifetime parishioner who loved serving the Lord.

She was a great wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She never met a stranger and liked to open her home up to family and friends who devoured her scrumptious cooking and enjoyed her bubbly, loving personality.

Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Mary Belton. Mary was born on March 17, 1945 and passed away on July 29, 2020. Viewing will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 1pm - 6pm at Jenkins Funeral Home, 170 Van Buren St., Mansfield, La 71052. Funeral service will be held on Saturday August 8, 2020 at 11am at Saline Baptist Church, 600 Saline Church Rd, Converse, La 71419. Burial will be held at Saline Cemetery. All family is asked to wear purple. Immediate family will be seated first. Masks are required to enter.

Funeral services have been delayed for Robert Remedies, 79.

Mr. Remedies was born on July 16, 1941 and entered rest on July 18, 2020 in Shreveport. Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Virginia and his son, Gregory Darrell Remedies. He is survived by his son Jeffrey and his wife Kimberly; Daughter in law, Rachael; and his son, Kevin and wife Suzanne. Bobby had seven grandchildren, Maria Suzanne; James Robert; Branden Jeffrey; Ryan Thomas; Colton Emile; Robert Craig; and Tyler Leonard; nine great-grandchildren, Terance Dayton; Gregorey Blake; Madeline Faith; Christopher Robert; Jacob Lynn; Robert Isiah; Mathew Adam; Gracelyn Noel; and Vanessa Leeann.

Bobby was the son of Robert Remedies and Gladys Bebee – oldest of 11 children. He was preceded in death by Betty, Barbara, Dennis and Doug. He is survived by Benny, Billy Jean, Dianne, Danny, Donald Hugh and Doreen.

Funeral services for Necley Vincent were held Sunday, August 2, 2020 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Jared Vincent officiating. Burial followed at the Many Cemetery.

Ross, more affectionately called Bootsie by all who loved him, was born on Sunday, February 23, 1941 in Pecan Island, Louisiana to Preston Reed Vincent and Irma Inez (Koch) Vincent and passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020.

Funeral services for Kenneth Martinez, 71, of Florien, were held on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Father Francis Kamau, Deacon Mike Sullivan and David McConathy officiating. Burial followed in the Prospect Cemetery.

Kenneth Patrick Martinez was born on Friday, June 3, 1949 in Converse. He passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at The Woodlands Healthcare Center in Leesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Granvil Lee “Chooch” Martinez and Catherine Sepulvado Martinez; wife, Kathryn Elaine Martinez; brother, A. T. “B B” Martinez; and his brother-in-law, Charles Harris.

Gregory Dean Cole was born on Friday, January 16, 1970 in Many. He passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 in Shreveport.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Dean Cole; father-in-law, Jessie Thane Sandel; maternal grandparents, Ira Glenn Goss and Mary Jane Koonce Goss; paternal grandparents, Louis Madison Cole and Fourthie Eunice Cole.

He is survived by his wife, Jodi Sandel Cole of Florien; mother, Glenda Goss Cole of Florien; brother, Glen Madison Cole of Florien; sister-in-law, Jessie Sandel Mitchell and husband Darrell of Florien; special nephews, Darrell Mitchell, Jr. and Thane Mitchell of Florien; special niece, Grace Cole of Florien; special friends Cleve and Mark Thompson of Florien; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Virginia O’Haver, 75, of Florien, were held on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at The Life Church with Pastor Jim Manning officiating. Burial followed in the Lewing Chapel Cemetery.

Virginia Ann O’Haver was born on Tuesday, May 1, 1945 in Many. She passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020 at her residence in Florien.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Quinton Isgitt; mother, Helen Wilson; father, Clyde Derr; and her father-in-law, John O’Haver.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie O’Haver of Florien; son, Richard Isgitt, Sr. and wife Shannon; paternal father, Grover Wilson; sisters, Fran Fewell and husband Mike; Anita Blomquist and husband Tim; and Tanda Yellott and husband Vernon; brother, Jimmy Derr and wife Linda; mother-in-law, Christine O’Haver; brotherinlaw, David O’Haver; grandchildren, Richard Isgitt, Jr. and Elizabeth Isgitt; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
