Funeral services for Mr. Don Gillespie were held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at New Freedom Fellowship Church with Brother Dean Hillman officiating; interment followed in the church cemetery. He was born December 7, 1947 in Ironton, Ohio to Ira Gillespie and Edna Ruth (Cox) Gillespie and entered into rest on August 9, 2020 at his residence.

He served honorably in the United States Army. Don enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved to travel and on his many adventures he liked hunting and fishing especially in the northern states and also in Canada.

Funeral services for the immediate family only of Jimmy Bush, 75, of Many, were held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Penfield officiating. Burial followed in the Warren Cemetery.

Jimmy Earl Bush was born on Tuesday, January 2, 1945 in Many. He passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at his residence in Many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jefferson Bush and Agnus Ailene (Caldwell) Bush; brothers, Thomas Eugene Bush, Charles Edward Bush; and sister, Mary Lynn Kelly.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Bush of Many; daughters, Melissa Hankins and husband Terry of Many; Julia Bush and partner Chad of Florien; sons, Jimmy Bush and wife Kimberly of Metairie, Louisiana; Jared Bush and wife Tina of Lumberton, Texas; sister, Judy Henderson and husband Rocky of Houma, Louisiana; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Benjamin “Ben” Gonzalez Partida

Benjamin Partida, aged only 15, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 in Junction City, Kansas. He was born on July 22, 2005 in Gelnhausen, Germany, to his beloved parents Sergio and Jessica Partida. He was beginning his sophomore year at Junction City High School where he was a member of the track and soccer team. A sweet and quiet young man, Ben was known by his family and friends to be quick-witted, sarcastic, funny, kind, and most of all, caring.

Ben D. Peterson was born on Sunday, September 20, 1936, in Many. He passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Christus Highland Medical Center in Shreveport.

He was preceded in death by his parents, S.D. and Dollie Peterson; sister, Ann Peterson Salter; nephews, Cassell Lehr and Dannon Peterson; and an infant son.

Bobbie Ann Rivers Ezernack was born September 15, 1943 in Zwolle to Robert Otis Rivers and Elzado (Sepulvado) Rivers and entered into rest on August 1, 2020 in Shreveport. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a faithful lifetime parishioner who loved serving the Lord.

She was a great wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She never met a stranger and liked to open her home up to family and friends who devoured her scrumptious cooking and enjoyed her bubbly, loving personality.

Mr. Remedies was born on July 16, 1941 and entered rest on July 18, 2020 in Shreveport. Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Virginia and his son, Gregory Darrell Remedies. He is survived by his son Jeffrey and his wife Kimberly; Daughter in law, Rachael; and his son, Kevin and wife Suzanne. Bobby had seven grandchildren, Maria Suzanne; James Robert; Branden Jeffrey; Ryan Thomas; Colton Emile; Robert Craig; and Tyler Leonard; nine great-grandchildren, Terance Dayton; Gregorey Blake; Madeline Faith; Christopher Robert; Jacob Lynn; Robert Isiah; Mathew Adam; Gracelyn Noel; and Vanessa Leeann.

Bobby was the son of Robert Remedies and Gladys Bebee – oldest of 11 children. He was preceded in death by Betty, Barbara, Dennis and Doug. He is survived by Benny, Billy Jean, Dianne, Danny, Donald Hugh and Doreen.
