Patsy was born February 24, 1927 in Village Mills, Texas and entered into rest on February 11, 2020 in Many. Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Patsy Ruth McCormick will be held 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Many Chapel with brother Ken Leach officiating. Her family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment for Mrs. McCormick will be immediately after her service at Florien Cemetery in Florien.

Preceding Patsy in death was her father, Lester Ray Jenkins; her mother, Dolly Lamar Hayes; and her stepmother, Gladys Jenkins. Those left behind to cherish her memories are her husband, Ralph D. McCormick of Many; son, Thomas McCormick and wife, Terri of Houston, Texas; daughter, Bonnie F. Sanderlin of Houston, Texas, daughter, Theresa A. Goldthorpe of Silver Spring, Maryland; along with 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Letha Eason was born on Thursday, June 3, 1926 in Belmont. She passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Sabine Retirement & Rehabilitation Center in Many. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Eason; parents, James William Moore and Catherine Elizabeth (Strange) Moore; and six sisters and two brothers.

Vollie Anders was born on Sunday, December 12, 1948 in Tifton, Georgia. She passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Anders; parents, Jimmy and Janta (Walston) Dixon; three children, Jeff Durley, Tracy Durley and Denise Durley; sister, Anita Tucker; brother, John Wayne Walston.

Keith Brown was born on July 18, 1967 in New Iberia, Louisiana. He passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Christus Highland Hospital in Shreveport. He was preceded in death by his father, Dickie Ray Brown; grandparents; fatherin-law, Earlton Allen; and his best friend, Jason Burr. Keith enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and he never met a stranger.

Funeral services honoring the life of Ruby Patrick, 93, were held on February 2, 2020 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Converse with Reverend Ronnie Sandifer officiating. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery in Converse.

Cathryn was born on November 14, 1926 in Sabine Parish to Gladys Earl Jr. and Ruby Mae Fleming. She entered into rest on January 31, 2020 in Converse.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Roy M. Patrick; son, Roy. E Patrick and daughter-in-law, Joy M. Patrick; parents, and two brothers, Walter Earl (Bob) Fleming and Ruby Thomas (Tommy) Fleming.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Bobby C. Patrick and wife Cheryl, Ralph G. Patrick and wife Mary Sue, Edwin Paul Patrick and wife Deborah, and Alan Keith Patrick and wife Sandra; daughter-in-law, Jerri Patrick; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Alton Lewing, 71, of Florien were held on February, 4, 2020 at Pine Knott Cemetery with Rev. Joe Hendrickson officiating.

Alton Lewing was born March 9, 1948 to Curtis and Marie Clark Lewing. He graduated from Florien High School in 1966. He married the love of his life Maribeth Adams Lewing on March 22, 1969 and they started their life journey together.

He worked numerous jobs before getting into the Poultry Business, a profession that became his passion. He loved raising chickens and cattle and working in the hayfields. He had a work ethic that few could keep up with.

His second joy in life was his great niece and nephew, Mattie and Alton Adams. He spent many hours riding them on the tractor while he fed cows.

Alton is survived by a sister, Evelyn Adams and husband Wayne; Jim Lewing and wife Marilyn, a very special brother Dean Lewing and wife Donna; Clarence Lewing and wife Jeanette, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
