Nina Sandel Harris

Funeral services for Nina Harris, 67, of Anacoco, were held on January 10, 2020 at Prospect United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Pennington officiating. Burial followed in the Prospect Cemetery.

Nina Harris was born on Tuesday, November 4, 1952 in Leesville. She passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020 in Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Sandel and Ethel (Crumpler) Sandel; husband, Boyd Harris; and her brother, Rodney Ochiltree.

Nina lived and worked on Toledo Bend Lake, in Louisiana, for over 30 years. She loved the area very much. Nina and her husband owned J & L Marina on Toledo Bend in the eighties and early nineties. Nina managed most of the day to day operations of the marina. She loved bass fishing, but especially loved catching and eating brim. She loved to walk the beaches of the lake.

Mr. Procell’s visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2019 beginning at 5:00 at Noble Baptist Church. Henry was born September 13, 1962 in Shreveport, LA to Liddie Mae (Manshack) Procell and Virgil Procell and entered into rest on December 31, 2019. He was a member of Noble Baptist Church; where he loved and served God the Almighty.

Funeral services for Mary Loupe, 98, of Noble, were held on January 3, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Richard Norsworthy officiating. Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery.

Graveside services honoring the life of Mrs. Annie Rae Nelson, 93, were held on December 26, 2019 at Lamberton Cemetery next door to the church on Shamrock Loop in Robeline. Officiating the service will be Rev. David Allen at Oasis of Love Fellowship with special music provided by Clayton Dyess of Marthaville.

Annie Rae Nelson was born on October 21, 1926 and departed this life into the arms of her Lord Jesus Christ at 2:00 a.m. Sunday, December 22, 2019.

She was raised with the teaching of the word until her passing.

Going ahead of her to welcome her was her husband, J.C. Nelson; sisters, Dessie Mae Holt and husband C.J. “Jack” and Elva Mae Paddie and husband Sonny Paddie.

Casey Patton Grizzle was born on Friday, June 25, 1971 in Shreveport. She passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 in Many. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; and her mother-in-law, Nancy Grizzle.

She is survived by her son William Meher, III and wife Merissia of Fisher; friend, Roger Mashburn of Franklin, North Carolina; sisters, Pam Dove of Many and Tina Francescutti and husband David of Franklin, North Carolina; grandchildren, Annarissia Petit, Marlina Petit, Jessi Petit, and Matthew Meher; mother-in-law, Ruby Curtis; sisters-in-law, Glenda Loose and husband Cliff of Franklin, North Carolina, Sheila Curtis McClure and husband Richard and Denise Curtis Southard and husband Steve; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
