Funeral services for Iris Weldon, 93, of Florien were held on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Cenchrea Nazarene Church in Florien with the Rev. Dan West and the Rev. Brooks Coburn officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Florien. Visitation was on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, beginning at 5 p.m. at Cenchrea Nazarene Church in Florien. Iris Weldon was born on Monday, January 10, 1921 in Sabine Parish. She passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Many Health Care North in Many.  She was a member of Cenchrea Church of the Nazarene for over 50 years.

Myrtle Estelle Hammer was born on Tuesday, March 1, 1921 in Auburn, ME. She passed away on Wednesday, March 5,  2014 at her residence in Many. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Hammer of Many; one daughter, Rosemarie Hatfield of Wakefield, NH; grandchildren, Richard Krauss, Michael Krauss, La-wana Gauya, Joshua Hatfield and Austin O’Rauke; along with a host of great grandchildren. Funeral services for James “Sunny” Myers, 76, of Mansfield were held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 beginning at 11 a.m. at San Patricio Baptist Church in Converse with Deacon Johnny Springer officiating. Burial followed in the Paul

Cemetery in Converse. Visitation began on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at 5 p.m. at San Patricio Baptist Church in Converse.

James “Sunny” Myers was born on Friday, January 21, 1938 in Converse. He passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Mansfield Nursing Center in Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry and Rosell McDonald Myers; siblings, Vera Myers Golden, William Perry Myers and baby, Judy Ann Myers. He is survived by his children; Tammy Edwards and husband, Jason of Converse; James Michael Myers and wife, Stacy of Converse and Derrik Lange Myers of Converse; mother of his children, Bobbie J. Sepulvado Myers; sisters, Shirley Golden of Converse, Joyce 

KEITHVILLE - Funeral services for Johnny Terrell, 65, were at 2 p.m. Feb. 27, 2014. at Rose-Neath’s Southside Chapel. The Rev. Rich Varner and the Rev. Robert Rowland officiated. Interment followed in Keithville Cemetery. Visitation was from 5- 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014 at the funeral home. Johnny passed away in Dallas, Texas, on Feb. 24,
