Robbie Kelly

Robbie Kelly, 87, of Den-ton, Texas passed away on March 4, 2015 in Denton, Texas. Robbie was born in Krum, Texas to William and Eunice Smith on March 20, 1927.She married Bud Kelly in 1966. After retiring from Vought Corp., Robbie moved to Zwolle in 1975 and spent 30 years living in her lake house on Toledo Bend. She was ac-tive in her community taking trips with her friends to New Orleans and many places.She loved to play 42 and spent many happy hours with her friends hosting bridge parties.She was an active member in Zwolle at Antioch Baptist Church.Robbie is survived by her daughters, Margaret Da-vis and Mary Little and son-in-laws, Tommy Pirkle and Roger Little all of Denton; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Doodle Norman and four nephews.She is preceded in death by her husband, Bud Kelly; parents; sister, Melba Nor-man and daughter Carolyn Lauderdale.

Willie LaRoue

A memorial mass will be held to celebrate the life of Willie J. “Bill” LaRoue, 64, of Noble, on Monday, March 23 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Zwolle. Father Timothy C. Hurd will officiate. Interment will fol-low in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service.Willie was born on May 20, 1950 in Converse. He entered into eternal rest in Alexandria, on March 10, 2015. Willie graduated from Zwolle High School in 1969.

Graveside Services for Lou-is Skinner, 86, of Many, were held on March 13, at St. John’s Cemetery in Many, with Father Thomas Elavunkal officiating. Burial followed in the St. John’s Cemetery.Louis Skinner was born on Friday, April 6, 1928 in Many. He passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Courtyard Nursing Home in Natchitoches.Mr. Skinner worked for the City of Many Sanitation for 32 years and also at the local washa-teria in Many.He was preceded in death by his mother, Lena Leone; wife, Ethel Skinner; sisters, brothers and stepchildren.He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, stepchildren and friends.

Alice Marie Michael

A memorial service for Alice Marie Michael was held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Vigil and rosary were on March 8 and Memorial Mass was on March 9. Father Thomas Elavunkal officiated.

Aunt Alice passed peacefully at home, Thursday March 5, 2015 at 5:03 p.m., with family.

Alice was a lifelong resident of Many, attending St. John’s School and a graduate of Many High School. She was a devoted lifelong member of St. John’s church congregation.

She worked all her life, enjoying a long career as bookkeeper with Many Motors Ford Dealership and later in the Ft. Polk payroll department, from which she retired.

Having never married, Alice was a devoted aunt to all her nieces and nephews. She shared her artistic talents, Sunday driving adventures and seemed to never miss sending a card of gift on birthdays and Christmas, memories we all cherish.

Funeral services for Gilbert Lee Jordan were held on March 9, at New Life Evangelism Center in Natchitoches with the Rev-erends Dennis Bjornberg, D.D. Lee, and Rodney Boswell officiat-ing. Interment followed at Rocky Mount Cemetery in Robeline. Gilbert Jordan, 57, was born July 23, 1957 in Robeline and received his healing March 5, 2015. Gilbert loved Jesus, his family, and his New Life Evange-lism Center family. He was a very humble and sweet spirited man who will be profoundly missed.He is survived by his wife, Betsy Boswell Jordan of Robeline; son, Tracy Jordan and wife, Edye, of Robeline; daughter, Kari Jordan of Many; grandchildren, Celeste Jordan, Jackson Jordan, Wesley Jordan, Maggie Jordan and Carsen Thompson; sister, Beverly Jordan Carnline and husband, Jimmy, of Many; his father-in-law, Terri Boswell of Provencal and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
