Margaret Eloise Pickle Reid McLean

Margaret Eloise Pickle Reid McLean, 87, passed peacefully in her sleep after fighting a long battle with multiple health issues. She was born April 18, 1928 and entered in eternal rest on July 22, 2015. She resided for the last 40 plus years on Toledo Bend Lake where she was active in the formation of the Peg Leg V.F.D. She was an avid crafter and enjoyed the outdoor life, whether working in her flower garden or hunting and fishing. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Milford Washington Pickle and Jessie Estella McKay Pickle and first husband, Clifton Irving Reid.

Services celebrating the life of Benjamin Mendez Martinez, 40, of Zwolle were held July 27 at the Aimwell Baptist Church. Interment followed in the Aimwell Cemetery. Mr. Martinez was born in Mexico on March 30, 1975 and entered into rest on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at University Health in Shreveport. He was preceded in death by his mother, Estela Martinez. He is survived by his father, Esteban Mendez, Sr.; wife Deborah Martinez; sons, Dustin Dakota Martinez and Benjamin Mendez Martinez, Jr.; daughter, Makayla Danielle Martinez; sisters, Maria, Lilia, Reyna, Adriana, Andrea and Rosalba; brothers, Saul, Esteban, Jr., Andrez, Jose, Agapito and Alejandro. Serving as pallbearers were Ernie Sepulvado, Sr., Earnie Sepulvado, Jr., Adam Garcie, Larry McBride, Monk Sepulvado, Henry Johnson, Paul Pollock and Frank Wingate. Funeral Services for Joseph Donald Ebarb, 62, of Zwolle, were held on Aug. 1, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle with Father Tim Hurd officiating. Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Zwolle. Joseph Ebarb was born on Friday, May 29, 1953 in Sabine Parish. He passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at his residence in Zwolle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Maggie Rivers Ebarb; brother, Lawrence F. Ebarb and sisters, Kay Richard and Ann Broadway. He is survived by his sons, Clay Ebarb and wife, Whitney, of Seminary, Mississippi and Tyler Thomisee of Fisher; daughters, Ashley Allgor and husband, William, of Georgia and Brittany Thomisee of Lafayette; sisters, Helen Lucas of Zwolle, Jean Bailey and husband, James, of Shreveport and Mary Obannon and husband, W.E., of Provencal; brother, Ray Ebarb of Zwolle; ten grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services honoring the life of William Doyle Cobbs, 75, were held July 24 at the Rose-Neath Funeral  Home Chapel in Mansfield burial following at Belmont Cemetery in Belmont. Officiating was the Rev. Glynn Howard. Doyle was born on May 19, 1940 to his parents Larry and Edith Cobbs. Preceding Doyle in death are his parents Larry and Edith Cobbs. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 54 years Freddie Nesom Cobbs;  sister, Dorothy Cobbs Renfrow; nieces, Pamela Neal, Paula Marshall, Melanie Patman, Sue Ebarb, Lyna Armstrong; nephews, Wade Nesom, Scott Carmical; great nieces, Rachel, Amanda, Kayla, Liz; great nephews, Hayden, Justin, Matthew, Thomas, Dakota, Colton, Marshall, Ricky and greatgreat nieces, Olivia. Those honoring the life of Doyle Cobbs as pallbearers were Wade Nesom, Scott Carmical, Justin Patman, Thomas Armstrong, Raymond Armstrong and Dusty Hasty.

Burial followed in the Rocky Mount Cemetery in Robeline. Patricia Gayle Patton was  orn on Friday, Oct. 1, 1948 inNatchitoches Parish. She passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Life Care Hospital in Shreveport. She was preceded in death by her parents, Crawford and Betty Dillard Mitchell; husband, Jimmy Patton and nephew, Ryan Neel. She is survived by her daughters, Lanay Baldridge of Robeline and Jimmie Patton of Robeline; sister, Jean Agnew of Mansfield; brothers, Norman Mitchell andwife, Marilyn, of Robeline and Venice Mitchell of Robeline; grandchildren, Melyssa Middleton of Pleasant Hill, Mitchell Middleton and wife, Jackie, of Lake Charles, Blake Manshack and wife, Destinee and Maryna  tampley and husband Edgar; five great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service forLoree Shirley was held July 24 at the Advent Christian  Church of Robeline with Robert Carnline officiating. Interment followed at Lambertowncemetery. Loree Shirley, 91 years of age, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 in Many. She was born March 24, 1924 to Benjamin and Rosa Holland Welch in Natchitoches Parish.Her siblings were Ray Welch of Marshall, Texas, Robert Welch of Robeline and Alice Kincaid. She worked for many years for Northwestern State University and ultimately retired as a stenographer 3. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Byrd and husband, Harvey, of Florien; son, Ken Darrow of Natchitoches; grandchildren, Kevin Broadway of Robeline, Sissy Edwards of Robeline and Vanessa Broadway of Bossier City and great grandchildren, Alyssa Broadway, Brittany Hayes, Brooke Broadway, Mason Broadway and Blake Broadway Donations may be made to the Lambertown Cemetery fund in Mrs. Loree’s name
