Funeral services for Marjorie Marie Rivers, 95, of Noble were held on Monday, March 14 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Tim Hurd officiating. Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation began on March 13 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Zwolle. Marjorie Marie Rivers was born on Sunday, September 5, 1920 in Sabine Parish. She passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Toledo Nursing Center in Zwolle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dora and Christine Sepulvado; husband, Reasing Rivers; son, Glen Rivers; grandchildren, Gina Rivers, Rodney Rivers, and Shaun Rivers; and great-granddaughter, Ava Reece Garcie.

Visitation began on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Zwolle. Larry David Campbell was born on Wednesday, September 27, 1950 in Sabine Parish. He passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at his residence in Zwolle. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Campbell, Sr. and Ledell Campbell; brother, George Campbell Jr.; son-in-law, Herman Dewayne Parrie; brother-in-law, Kenny Sepulvado; and mother-in-law, Annie Ruth Sepulvado.

Funeral services honoring the life of A. D. McLendon, 83, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Prospect Community Church Florien with Bro. Ray Lieget officiating. Burial followed at Prospect Community Cemetery in Florien. The family received friends at the chapel on Monday, March 8 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. A.D. was born in Sabine Parish to Allen J. McLendon and Ladall McLendon and passed away at the hospital in Shreveport with his family by his side. Preceding A.D. in death were his parents, Allen and Ladall McLendon. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Della L. McLendon; daughter, Amanda Bliss and husband, Taylor; sons, Steve McLendon and wife, Cindy, and John B. McLendon; sister, Christine O’haver; grandchildren, Zane, Lindsey, Bo, Lilah, Alexis, Maya and great grand child, Meghan. Many foster children, a host of nieces and nephews, countless friends and fishing buddies.

Services for Leah Annette Eubanks, 48, was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Marthaville. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until the service time in Marthaville. Officiating was the Rev. Brian Ray. Interment followed at Belmont Cemetery in Belmont. Shreveport visitation was held from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Funeral Home in Shreveport. Leah was born on September 3, 1967 to Arlest Edward Lightfoot and Laurice Allbritton Lambert, and passed away with her family by her side on March 1, 2016 in Shreveport. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and grandmother. Leah loved her time being a nurse locally as well as traveling in the same profession. She truly enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, spending time in her yard, and had the most contagious smile, anytime spent with her family and friends was most special to her. She spoke her mind and encouraged others to be strong, and have a hard work ethic.

Marian Lynette Salley Ammons, 63, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 16, 2016, surrounded by a loving family at her home in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She was born on February 17, 1952 in Natchitoches. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on March 13 at Trinity Baptist Church in Natchitoches. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vonnie and Elsie Salley, and brother, Harold Lee Salley. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, John M. Ammons of Natchitoches; daughter, Joy Ammons, of Natchitoches; sister, Janice Jones of Many; nephews, Jody Robbins and wife, Mariesa, of San Antonio, Texas; Don Jones and wife, Annabel, of Natchitoches; and Daniel Jones of Many; niece, Lydia Salley of Many; great-nephews, Jansen Jones and Cade Robbins; great-niece, BellaDonna Jones; and a host of friends and relatives.

She passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Willis Knighton Pierremont in Shreveport. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buey and Lovie Peace Woodle; and son, Keith Branam.

Burial followed at Spring Ridge Cemetery in Pleasant Hill. The family received friends at the First Baptist Church on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at 1:30 p.m. Raiford was born in Stephens, AR to Roy E Rogers and Lois Wilson and passed away at the hospital in Mansfield with his daughter and son-in-law by his side. Preceding Raiford in death were his wife, Betty Yvonne Rogers; son, Raiford Johnson Rogers; parents, Roy Rogers and Lois Wilson, and one brother, Wilson Rogers. Those left behind to cherish his memory are daughter, Cheryl Rogers Cox and beloved son-in-law, Buddie Charles Cox; brother, Roy M. Rogers; sisters, Lorene Cheatham, Nancy Smith, Sally McLaurin, Mary Nell Channell and a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Bruce was born in Pleasant Hill to Albert Bruce and Ina Rembert and passed away with his wife by his side. Proceeding him in death were his parents, Albert Bruce and Ina Rembert; sister, Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Bruce and brother Al Bruce.

Preceding Walter in death were his parents, Quinton and Mary Spillyards; wife, Mary Spillyards; brother, Charles Spillyards; and sister, Gloria Spillyards Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Walter H. Spillyards, Jr. and wife, Kristy, Lloyd D. Spillyards and companion, Sally Norwood; Donny R. Spillyards and wife, Margaret; step-son, Kevin Craig and wife, Danette; sister, Hazel Bourgue and husband,Thomas; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren ; two nephews, and once niece.

Imogene Brennan

Imogene Brennan, 90, of Pleasant Hill died on Feburary 23. Services were held on February 26 with burial following at Progress Cumberland Cemetery in Pleasant Hill under the direction of Warren Meadows.
