54, of Natchitoches passed away June 6, 2016. Services were held June 10 at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Many. Burial was held June 11 in the Willow Grove Cemetery in Joaquin, Texas.

Maxine Horner

Maxine Horner was born in Greenwood, Mississippi on July 9, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Grace Thomason Hill. In 1944 she was united in marriage to Howard Horner, who preceded his wife in death September 3, 1986. Mrs. Horner was the owner and operator of Horner’s Florist for 25 years. She also had worked for Brown Shoe in Selmer, Dyer, and Savannah. Mrs. Horner was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah, Tennessee. She loved talking to friends and family and was a very devoted mother, grannie, and ma. Mrs.

Thelma Procell

Thelma Marie Manshack Procell of Winnfield went to the arms of the Father on June 1, 2016. She succumbed to a short illness after suffering a major stroke in 2011. She was surrounded by family when she was reunited with her late husband of 62 years, David Paul Procell and parents, Amos and Elsie Ebarb Manshack. Ms. Marie was born in Ebarb November 9, 1931. She met the love of her life and life partner marrying David Procell on January 23, 1947. Ms. Marie and Mr. Dave, members of the great-generation, gave life to seven children. She was known for being a wonderful cook, generous giver, and an incredible “green thumb.” A plant dare not grow straight, strong, and give off plentiful fruit and blossoms. Like her children and their friends this was a mom who meant business or else. She was a Girl Scout troop leader, catechism instructor, member of the Ladies Altar Society taking pride in making and mending altar cloths and an Elder of the Choctaw Apache Tribe of Ebarb. Visitation services honoring the life of Loretta Yvonne Rabon Groce, 80, were held May 28 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield with a burial to be announced at a later date. Yvonne was born on October 6, 1935 in Converse to O.R and Lovelle Rabon, and passed away on May 25, 2016 with her family by her side. She was the friendliest and caring person you would ever meet and will be missed by so many. Proceeding her in death were her parents, O.R. and Lovelle Rabon; brothers, Huey Wayne Raborn “Bob” and T.J Raborn “Hogi,” and her son, Joey Groce. She is survived by her sons, Trey Groce and wife, Melissa, and Phillip Groce and wife, Colleen; sister, Linda Paddie and husband, Merle; brother, O.R. Funeral services honoring the life of Aaron Ray Meshell, 51, were held June 2 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Zwolle with Father Timothy Hurd officiating. Burial followed at the Old St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Zwolle. Sonny Boy was born on October 8, 1964 in Shreveport to Johnny and Naomi Meshell and passed away on May 28, 2016 in Alexandria.
