Business: Finished

After a six year wait, the Many Tigers have climbed back on top of the Class 2A mountain after a resounding 16-13 win over the Kinder Yellowjackets on December 27.

“We knew coming here that it was going to be a dogfight,” said Many Head Coach Jess Curtis. “You have to be able to make one more play than those guys and you can’t blink. I don’t think those guys did tonight.”

The Tigers were just not going to be denied that night. Outside of a 59 yard rush for a touchdown, the Tiger defense held Kinder to 46 yards rushing on 22 carries. Many held Kinder to under 200 yards of total offense, with two interceptions.

Many Mayor Ken Freeman presented the four honorees with plaques for their achievements. He also promised them the parade was simply being postponed until the East holidays because of the Corona Virus.

“We will have a parade in 2021 and celebrate the resurrection of Christ instead of the birth of Christ,” the mayor promised.

The honorees with their families attended and enjoyed the brief ceremony and having their pictures made around City Hall that was all decked out for the Christmas holidays.
