Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday, December 31, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many, LA.

Forrest O’Neil Rothwell was born on Friday, August 20, 1976 in Pasadena, TX. He passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in Shreveport, LA.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Rothwell; paternal grandparents, Dick and Mabel Rothwell; and his maternal grandparents, Bobby and Chris Stanley.

He is survived by his children: Memorie Rothwell, Dakota Rothwell, Chasitie Rothwell and Mariah Rothwell; mother, Debbie Hayden of Houston, TX; special aunt, Paula Rothwell; uncle, Steve Stanley; and his granddaughter, Avalynn Mabel Rothwell; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Abbie Martin and Agnes (Bynog) Martin; foster parents, Robert and Clopha Coffey; brothers, James Martin, Donnie Max Coffey and Alvin Martin and her sister, Bobbie Lee.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, located at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Many Chapel. Funeral services honoring Cleo will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at the chapel. Officiating the service will be Bro. Jimmy Price with Bro. Benny Crittenden assisting. Interment will be held at Shiloh Cemetery in Converse, Louisiana.

Cleo was born on September 27, 1931, in Converse, Louisiana to James Drew Webb and Ella Belle Cain Webb.

Lena Faye Craig was born on Saturday, October 26, 1940 in Pleasant Hill, LA. She passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2022 at her residence in Pleasant Hill, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Braxton Chapman and Roma Ann (Phillips) Chapman; brother, Druce Chapman; sister, Maxine Chapman; half-brothers, Dub Neasom and J. B. Chapman; and her half-sisters, Inez McCullough and Vera Goings.

Martha Lynn Middleton Payne

Martha Payne was born in Pleasant Hill on July 11, 1933. She passed away suddenly at home on December 24, 2021.

She grew up a happy child who participated in rodeo and softball. In high school, she was know for such stunts as talking her way out of choir to have more time for softball practice. She graduated from Northwestern University in Louisiana with a degree in medical technology, taking time along the way to help her softball team win a state championship.

After college, she worked at Willis-Knighton and Shriner’s in Shreveport and Good Shepherd in Longview. She married the love of her life, Bill C. Payne, in 1962. Her son Don was born in 1964 and daughter Vilia in 1967. Martha was a devoted member of Longview Missionary Baptist Church and was well known for her welcoming attitude and sense of humor. She never met a stranger.

Louis Remedies, Jr. was born on Thursday, November 7, 1946 in Zwolle, LA. He passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Sabine Retirement & Rehabilitation Center in Many, LA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Remedies, Sr. and Bertie Lee (Parrie) Remedies; brother, Charles Remedies; two sisters, Mary Jane Sepulvado and Phillis Samples; and his grandson, Layton Remedies. On December 12, 2021, his wife Linda Sterling Remedies passed away.

Harold Eugene Wyatt was born on Wednesday, June 24, 1936 in Shreveport, LA. He passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, LA.

While the title he was most known as was “Paw”, he adored being a great grandfather to Jason and Isabella. One of his greatest accomplishments was being the best grandfather and great grandfather that anyone could have ever asked for.

Rebecca was born to Loyd Edgar George Harris and Betty May Williams in Brookhaven, Mississippi on October 8th, 1951 and entered into eternal rest on December 24th, 2021 in Converse, Louisiana.
