March 19, 1927 - February 10, 2014 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 Services celebrating the life of Mrs. Mable Sepulvado, 86, of Zwolle, were held at 11 a.m. on Feb. 12, 2014. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle and officiated by Father Tim Hurd. Internment followed the services at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The family received friends from 4-8 p.m. on Feb. 11, 2014. at Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Zwolle, with a rosary that began at 7 p.m. Mable was born on March 19, 1927, and went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Feb. 10, 2014. Mable was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Ascension Sepulvado; an infant son, Bobby Ray Sepulvado; brothers, Manuel, Joe, Nick and Raymond; sisters, Sally Procell, Angeline Malmay and Rosa Lee Garcia.
Mable was a stay at home wife and mother and was fond of her cooking and sewing skills. To make her the happiest was to sit and enjoy the meals that she prepared for her family and friends. Mable was a lifelong and devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Joseph Melvin Sepulvado of Zwolle; son, Joseph Thomas Sepulvado and wife, Wilna, of Shreveport; and daughter, Mary Sue Patrick and husband, Ralph, of Converse; grandchildren, Jody and wife. Donnese Sepulvado, Carla and husband. Dave Anderson and Jenna Patrick, all of Shreveport; and Chad and wife, Courtney Sepulvado, of Birmingham, Ala.; greatgrandchildren, Reed Sepulvado, Owen Sepulvado, Sasha Anderson and Nadia Anderson, all of Shreveport. In addition, Mable is survived by her sisters, Maggie Manshack and Cora Meshell, both of Zwolle; Blanche Procell and Mattie Garcie, of Shreveport; and sister-in-law, Joanne Blackmon, of Florein, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Honoring Mable as pallbearers were her nephews: Rufus Meshell, Howard Sepulvado, A. J. Malmay, Johnny W. Malmay, Walter Meshell, Jr. and James E. Procell.
