Victor “Doc” Lee, born October 19th 1943 and passed on September 23rd, 2026 while working at his home in West Fork, Arkansas. Born and raised in Many, Louisiana, he spent his youth developing a love for cars, motorcycles, family, and the outdoors. After graduating from Many High School in 1961, he earned an accounting degree from Northwestern State University and served in the Louisiana National Guard. He married his high school sweetheart, Sharon “Dandy” in 1965, who likes to jest that his main motivation was that “daddy owned a Pontiac dealership” and they started married life with a new 1965 GTO.
Following his service in the armed forces, Victor worked as a Hospital Administrator in Coushatta, Louisiana where he earned the nickname “Doc” that his grandchildren adopted. In 1979, Doc, Dandy, and children moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas where they owned Merle Norman Cosmetics.
Victor gave Sharon one of his best gifts when converted to Catholicism and was confirmed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fayetteville, AR. A few years later they found, closer to home, Our Lady of the Ozark shrine where they are currently church members. Victor’s passions included spending time with loved ones, working on his land, enjoying the outdoors, grilling, working on automobiles, riding motorcycles, bird hunting with his dogs, and buying & selling various items at auctions.
Doc is survived by his wife of 61 years Sharon Andries Lee, son Brett Lee, daughters Wendy Ojeda & April Lee, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandsons, and countless friends. He was preceded by his parents Clifton & Marie Lee and younger brother Glen.
