Funeral services honoring the life of William James Roy III, 70, of Haughton were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2014, in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Billy Wood officiated. Interment followed in the Aimwell Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, William James Roy II and Helen Viola Parks Roy; son, Michael Shawn Castillo; brother, Randy Paul Roy; and sisters, Doris Jean Richardson and Holly Elizabeth Barnhill. He is survived by his wife, Ann Castillo Roy of Haughton; son, Willima James “Jamie” Roy IV of Haughton; daughters, Shelly Raylene Roy Ortiz of Cypress, Texas, Courtney Leann Roy of Haughton, Nikki Cherice Castillo of Haughton; grandchildren, Colton Sean Castillo, Andrew Douglas Morton, Jacob Ortiz, Reese Ortiz, Kaden Micahel Ward and Maddox Kason Philen; sisters, Merrie Dale Falcon of Shreveport, Judy Marie Guillot of Highlands, Texas, Patricia Diane Olefke of Apex, N.C., Deborah Joyce Sarrett of Bossier City; brother, Frank Falcon, Jr. of Zwolle; and a host of family and friends. Honoring him as pallbearers were Kevin Roy, Mike Falcon, Frank Falcon, Jr., Ricky Parks, Wayne Parks and Colton Castillo. Honorary pallbearer was Judy Guillott.
