Funeral services for Codi Renee Petit, 32, of Many, LA, will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Beulah Baptist Church with Bro. Kenneth Leach, Sr., Bro. Jimmy Speight and Bro. Bill Craft officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 5:00 PM at Beulah Baptist Church.

Codi Renee Petit was born on Saturday, September 30, 1989 in Natchitoches, LA. She passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans, LA.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tommie McComic and her brother, Timothy McComic.

She is survived by her husband, Jared Petit of Many, LA; children: Kynli Thaxton, Jackson Thaxton, Drake Thaxton, Anna Petit, Marli Petit and Jessi Petit; mother, Betty McComic of Many, LA; brothers, Mike McComic and wife Mary of Florien, LA and Tony McComic and wife Cindy of Many, LA; nieces and nephews: Jacob McComic and wife Valerie and son Jace, Brooke Laroux and husband Sam, Dawson McComic and fiancé Taylor and son Rhett, Jericho Airhart, Ellie Airhart, Aidan Heredia, Blaine McComic, Blake McComic, Kholbe Sonder and Jade Martin and husband Kaleb; along with a host of friends.

Pallbearers: Dawson McComic, Jacob McComic, Elliott Chesson, Bubba Rogers, Blake Manshack and Michael Geoghagan.

Honorary Pallbearers: Blaine McComic, Blake McComic and Anthony Petit.
