Reverend Frederick M. Fraser was a man of simple joys and steadfast devotion. A lifelong sports fan, he cherished his New Orleans Saints, finding delight in every game. He loved nothing more than spending time at his camp on Toledo Bend, soaking in the beauty of the water and tending to the land he so dearly loved. Rocking in his front porch chair brought him peace, while traveling across 46 states with his dear wife gave him a sense of adventure. Above all, his family was his greatest treasure. A proud father to four daughters, he was the best “Girl Dad” they could have ever asked for. Along with his daughters, his fourteen grandchildren brought him joy without measure. His faith and strength were unmatched, and he lived each day with a quiet, unwavering spirit.

Reverend Fraser was a pillar of the First United Methodist Church, where he served as minister for many years and had been a devoted member since 1977. His love for his congregation was as strong as his faith. He lived simply and loved deeply, leaving a legacy of kindness, humility, and a strong sense of stewardship for the land and the people he held dear.

Honorary Pallbearers will be his grandchildren. Donation can be made to First United Methodist Church, 703 Lee Avenue Lafayette, LA 70501
