Funeral services for Gregory Haynes Jett, 40, of Converse, LA, will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, Many, Louisiana with Rev. Jimmy Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many, LA.
Gregory Haynes Jett was born on Thursday, April 4, 1985 in Shreveport, LA. He passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 in Stanton, TX.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jerry and Marie Autrey; and his paternal grandparents, Jay Lynn and Marie Jett.
Gregory was a family man, kind hearted, loving, giving, hard working, and had strong faith with God. We will all remember his big smile that would light up a room when he walked in it. Besides his love for fishing and hunting, Gregory loved to cook bbq, boil crawfish, hang out with his 3 boys, fiancé, family, and listen to music as he sang along. Gregory made friends with strangers and was very humble. Gregory had a career in the oil field since he got out of high school. Gregory loved to humor his family and friends with funny videos and share spiritual ones. He will always be loved and never forgotten.
He is survived by his mother, Marion Jett of Lake Charles, father, Jeffery Jett of Lake Charles, LA; three sons, Jadon Jett of Stanley, LA, Alex Jett of Stanley, LA and Grayson Jett of Lake Charles, LA; fiancé, Elizabeth Anders of Pleasant Hill, LA; sister, Ashley Jett Manuel and husband Jeremy of Lake Charles, LA; brother, Ryan Jett of Lake Charles, LA; grandmother, Patsy Thomas of Berick, LA; nephews, Cruz Manuel of Lake Charles, LA, Dakota Manuel of Lake Charles, LA and Karsyn Manuel of Lake Charles, LA; cousin, Jeremy Kinney of Lake Charles, LA; along with a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be: Ryan Jett, Amos Dillard, Braylon Hardy, Chad Carmadelle, Jeremy Manuel, and Jeremy Kinney.
Everyone is welcome to gather at Oak Hill Baptist Church following the graveside service.
