Funeral services for Donald Wayne Bridges, 80, of Peason, LA, will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Carmel Bap tist Church with Rev. Matt Warren and Rev. Leon Manshack officiating. Burial will follow in the Florien Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Donald Wayne Bridg es was born on Monday, April 2, 1945 in Many, LA. He passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025 in Florien, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, AG and Melvie Bridges; sis ters, Sandra Beckham and Freda Burke and his brother, Dewayne Bridg es.
He is survived by his wife, Mina Gail Bridges of Peason, LA; daugh ter, Cassie Remedies and f iancé Omar Davis of Many, LA; sisters, Connie Minter and husband Jim my of Texarkana, TX and Beverly Bowling of Texar kana, TX; brothers, Jerry Bridges and wife Letha of Peason, LA and Winston Bridges and wife Renee of Provencal, LA: grandchil dren: Alijah Remedies and wife Kaylei of Peason, LA, Destiny Jackson and Elijah Williams of Zwolle, LA; great grandchildren: Scarlett Remedies of Pea son, LA, RayLeigh Reme dies of Peason, LA, Asher Remedies of Peason, LA and Kannon Williams of Zwolle, LA; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
