Terry Lane Carter

Terry Lane Carter of Hornbeck, Louisiana passed away on June 23, 2023, surrounded by his beloved family. He met his childhood sweetheart and future wife, Margaret McGraw, at church singing schools and would eventually spend many a night playing bass as friends would gather in his and Margaret’s home for ‘pickin and grinnin’ jam sessions.

Terry loved the outdoors and after retiring from ownership of his small business West Louisiana Marble and Granite, he could be found quietly helping others behind the scenes, rehabilitating neglected horses, or in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
