She was born on Friday, July 4, 1947 in Mississippi and passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at her residence in Many.

Marie Boothe

Funeral services honoring the life of Edith Marie Boothe, 90, were held February 25 at Toledo Bend Church of Christ of Toledo Town in Many. The Rev. James Tidwell officiated and burial followed in the Toledo Bend Church of Christ Cemetery. She was born on August 26, 1926 in Alabama to Dewitt Shirley and Ada Atteberry Shirley. She passed away on February 22, 2017 while residing at Sabine Retirement Center of Many. Preceding her in death were her husband, James Franklin Boothe and brothers, Ray Shirley, J.C. Shirley, Hubert Shirley, and DeWitt Shirley Jr. She is survived by her sons, James Franklin Boothe of Corinth, Texas and Marvin Wilson Boothe of Elgin, Oklahoma; daughter, Glory White of Many; sisters, Floree Myers of Semmes, Alabama, Fern Nelson of Semmes, Alabama, Carrol Chastain of Mobile, Alabama and Raven Williams of Mobile, Alabama. She was blessed with nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.

Joe Weber III

Memorial services honoring the life of Joe Weber III, 69, were held March 25 at Henrietta Congregational Methodist Church in Converse with the Rev. Chucky Clark officiating. Joe was born on March 3, 1948 in Trenton, New Jersey to Florence and Joseph Weber, Jr. and entered into rest on March 16, 2017 in Mansfield. In his life Joe found a joy in friends, family, cars, trains, and planes, which he piloted for many years. In recent years, he rejoiced playing Santa for local children and assisting in VBS at Henrietta Methodist Church. Preceding Joe in death was his parents, Florence and Joseph Weber, Jr. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Tamara J. Simmons of Converse; son, Shawn Simmons of Many; daughters, Heather Anne Weber of Converse, Christy Scott, and Reva Spencer both of Nixa, Missouri; and very close friend, Kenny Maltby of Winchester, California. Andrew Sepulvado

Funeral services honoring the life of Andrew C. Sepulvado were held March 13 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Zwolle with Father Richard Norsworthy officiating Burial followed in the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.

He was born on August 13, 1932 in Zwolle to Will and Earline Sepulvado. He entered into rest on March 8, 2017 at the age of 84.

Preceding him in death were his brothers, Earnest Sepulvado, Wilfred Sepulvado, J.T. “Red” Sepulvado, and Joe D. Sepulvado; sisters, Gladys Kent, Irene Sepulvado, Hazel Sepulvado, Marie Garcie, Laura Lee Sepulvado, and Pauline Ebarb; son, William Sepulvado; and daughter, Bessie Harvey.

She was born on October 7, 1959 in Natchez, Mississippi to John D. and Lola Ruth Tanner and entered into rest on March 4, 2017 in Converse. Linda was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister and grandmother.

Funeral services for Jack Dennis Lightfoot, 69, of Many, were held March 12 at Carson Baptist Church with the Reverends Jeff Feibel, Kenny Carter and Wesley Jackson officiating. Burial followed in the Spring Ridge Cemetery.

He was born on Saturday, October 4, 1947 in Zwolle. He passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at his residence in Many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlest Lightfoot, Sr. and Bernice Isgitt Lightfoot; and brother, Arlest Lightfoot, Jr.

Bradley Canton

Funeral services honoring the life of Bradley Ray Canton were held March 14 at Rose- Neath Chapel in Many with Bishop Terry Lowe officiating. Burial followed at Spring Ridge Cemetery in Pleasant Hill.

He was born October 20, 1959 in Houston, Texas to Bobby Ray Canton and Daisy McKinney Canton and passed away on March 10, 2017 in Zwolle at the age of 57.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, William and Josie Canton, Cletus O. and Bennie McKinney; and father, Bobby Ray Canton.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Daisy McKinney Canton; daughters, Mallorey Sepulvado and Automn Canton; sisters, Deborah L. Canton Chambers and Carol A. Canton Davis; grandchildren, Jaleigh Leone and Kasen Arthur; nieces, Kristan Jordan and Sara Davis; nephews, Kody Chambers and Andrew Davis; and a host of loving friends.
