Funeral services for Geneva Hodge Porter, 77, of Many were held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 beginning at 2 p.m. at Fort Jesup Baptist Church in Many with the Rev. George Treutlein and the Rev. Ray Dyess officiating. Burial followed in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery in Many. Visitation was on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, beginning at 5 p.m. at Warren Meadows

Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014 at Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana,Texas. Mrs. Porter was a member of the Eastern Star  for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vilous and Lillian Paddie Hodge and her sisters, Marlene Hodge and Baby Hodge. DeWayne Eugene Meshell

Funeral services for DeWayne Eugene Meshell, 62, of Zwolle were held on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Timothy C. Hurd officiated. Interment followed in the church cemetery. DeWayne was born on April 13, 1951 in Zwolle. He entered into eternal rest on Jan. 12, 2014 in Shreveport. He was self-employed in the timber industry for many years. He was preceded in death by his father, E.E. Meshell; and son, Chad Michael Meshell. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Iva Lee Ebarb Meshell of Zwolle; sons, Jason Meshell of Robeline, Kevin Lee Meshell of Zwolle; brothers, David Meshell of Zwolle, James Dennis Meshell of Cotton Valley, Donald E.
