Funeral services for Johnny Glen Moran, Sr., 74, of Zwolle, were held on Jan. 16 at First United Methodist Church of Zwolle with the Reverends Richard Hooten and Michi Head officiating. Burial followed in the Old Castor Cemetery in Castor. Moran was born on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 1940 in Sabine Parish. He passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley Moran and Lucy Pearl Bush Moran and brothers, Benny Moran and Kenneth Moran. Glen was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Zwolle, and also a Mason. He was a Sabine Parish small business owner and retired from Chevron after 35 years. He was loved and adored by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Sara Neal Moran of Zwolle; sons, Terry Moran and wife, Anneliese, of Metairie and Johnny Moran, Jr.
