Billy Young

Billy Ray Young, 84, of Converse died peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Young was born June 1, 1931 in Converse. He is preceded in death by parents, Lane and Octavine Young and brothers, Lloyd Young, Milton Young and Harry Young. He is survived by younger brother, Floyd Young and his wife, Doris, of Van Buren, Arkansas and sister, Mary Cates of Converse. Funeral was held on June 2 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield. The Reverends Charles Clark and Randy Parker officiated. Burial followed at Union Springs Cemetery in Converse. James Crone

James Allen Crone, 68, went home to the Lord on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the North Missis-sippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi, after an extended illness. Born in Many on August 13, 1946 to Leonard Allen Crone and Dorthea Sunshine Kimbrell Crone, James “Doc” grew up in Zwolle where he graduated from Zwolle High School with the class of 1964.He attended Northwestern State University prior to joining the United States Navy. James retired as a Petty Officer First Class after 26 years of active duty.
