Mary Jewel Procell was born on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 1932 in Noble. She passed away on Saturday, Sept. 26, 205 at Toledo Nursing Center in Zwolle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J. Procell; parents, Tom and Ella Manshack; children, Charlene Kidd, Ray and Faye Procell; grandchildren, Sonya Lynn Swearengin, Michael Swearengin, Ruston, Tori and Terrence Sepulvado.

Celebration of life and going home service for Mary Jane Crittenden, 71, of Florien was held Sept. 18 at Rose-Neath Many Chapel with the Reverends James Hickman and Charles Pennington officiating. Interment followed at Pine Knot Cemetery in Fisher. Mrs. Crittenden was born April 27, 1944, in Plain Dealing to John and Jewel Frances Love and entered into her eternal resting place on Sept. 14, 2015 in Decatur, Texas. During her lifetime, she married the love of her life, Jim Crittenden in February of 1966 in Marshall, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who tried to see the good in everyone and opening her home and heart to anyone who needed it.
