Delane Bell

Article Image Alt Text

Gary Delane Bell of Zwolle left the pain and suffering of this world to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 25, 2017 at Grace Home in Shreveport. He was born to Gary and Connie Jordan Bell on November 18, 1983 in Shreveport. Delane was a member of Converse Baptist Church. After being diagnosed with cancer when he was 16, his faith in Jesus Christ gave him the strength to be an inspiration to others during his many stays at St. Jude Hospital in Memphis and other medical facilities for numerous surgeries and treatment. Although this dreaded disease limited Delane to some degree, he was still able to live a productive life while working as a loader operator in his father’s logging business. He loved being in the woods, either working or hunting, and always had a fascination of John Deere equipment.
