Mrs. Ann Mildred Sepulvado, 93, of Shreveport, died Monday, January 6, 2025, at home, after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Sepulvado, known to many as Miss Ann, was retired from the United States Postal Service, having worked as a postal clerk in Noble, LA; the postmaster of Mitchell, LA; and, lastly, retiring as the postmaster of Converse, LA. She was a homemaker for many years before going to work for the US Postal Service, and, before that, had achieved the rank of Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, when she met and married Joseph Martin Sepulvado (Smoky) in Cheyenne, WY. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, watching westerns and musicals, and gardening, where she had a special love and green thumb for her roses.

Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many, LA will be coordinating the funeral arrangements, and graveside services will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, 307 Hammond Ave, Zwolle, LA 71486, on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 11:00 am with Fr. Keith Garvin performing the Rite of Committal.

Ann Sepulvado was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Joseph Martin Sepulvado; a son, Joseph Sepulvado; and her parents John F. Shipp and Lucile E. Partain Shipp of Georgia and her sisters, Cleo Shipp, Reba Mitchell and Myrtice Ash. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her brother Ralph Shipp of GA; son Richard Sepulvado of Shreveport; son Jace Sepulvado (Martee) of Midlothian, Texas; daughter Jo Ann DeLorme (Randy) of Clemons, NY; daughter Lurene Haydel (Glen) of Broken Arrow, OK; daughter Judith Sepulvado of Shreveport; and daughter Rebecca Sepulvado of Shreveport; daughter of her heart Lynn Grau of Sachse, TX. Grandchildren: Jennifer Killian (Gary); Jeremy Sepulvado (Melanie); Georgette Stanley (Justin); Jessica Delorme; Malia DeLorme; Joseph DeLorme (Molly); Daniel Haydel; Marina Haydel; Julie Sepulvado; Angela Sepulvado. Great Grandchildren: Brooke Killian, Benjamin Killian and Stryder Sepulvado.
