Funeral services for A. G. (Red) Hardy, Jr., 76, of Many, LA, will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris Asberry and Bro. Glynn Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 4:30 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many LA.
Red Hardy was a strong and kind man with a great sense of humor and a furious loyalty for his family. He loved to help people when he could and always had a big smile and a hug when he saw a friend. He loved Linda and Jackie and has grieved them both since their passing. Barbie was his “girl” and he fought hard not to leave her. His beloved dog Susie was a constant and loyal companion for him till the very end. Red was known for his stubbornness but also for his determination and hard work when it came to providing for his family. Barbie thanks every family member and friend who offered prayers, visits, calls and thoughts for her family during this time.
He was preceded in death by mother, Beatrice Hall Hardy; father, A.G. Jack Hardy, Sr; wife, Linda Davis Hardy; son, Jackie Monroe Hardy; brother, James “Bozy” Hardy; and his sister, Janice Hardy. He is survived by his daughter, Barbie Hardy and spouse Charity Watts; siblings, Randy Hardy, Doyle Hardy, Cynthia York and husband Harvey, Becky Hardy, Joe Hardy, Buddy Hardy and wife Brenda; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his fur baby Susie.
