Funeral services for Muriel Rivers, 78, of Zwolle, LA, will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Tim Hurd officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 5:30 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many LA. A rosary vigil will be held at 6:30 PM.
Muriel Rivers was born on Sunday, June 23, 1946 in Converse, LA. She passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Many Healthcare North in Many, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Rivers and Mary Ann (Leone) Rivers; sisters, Rita Sepulvado, Scottie Ferguson and Karen Elizabeth Rivers and her nephew, R. G. Ferguson.
She is survived by her daughters, Ricki Sepulvado, of Zwolle, LA and Diamond R. Adair of Zwolle, LA; sisters, Jean Lambert and husband George of Simpsonville, SC, Kay LeBleu and husband Tim of Benton, LA and Darlene Boudreaux and husband Pat of Zwolle, LA; brother, Ricky Rivers of Converse, LA; her grandchildren, that all say they were her #1, Emerald Maryann and fiancé William Wallace, Stone Rivers Adair and Matthew Sepulvado; brothers-in-law, Anthony Sepulvado and Gary Stephens; her God children, Joseph Sepulvado, Lamar Boudreaux, Yvette Broadway, Laycie Beard, John David Kent and Trey Williams; a special “son”, Brett Sepulvado; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be: Justin Farmer, Josh Farmer, Marvin Frazier, Gary Lee, “Bitty” Williams, William Wallace, Trey Williams, Zach Faircloth and “Bull” Sepulvado
