Funeral services for Loy Gaddis, 94, of Marthaville, LA, will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Old Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Benny Crittenden and Rev. Dean Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Old Pisgah Baptist Church.
Loy Ray “Toye” Gaddis was born on Thursday, July 31, 1930, in Pleasant Hill, LA. He passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Sabine Retirement & Rehabilitation Center in Many, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Evertt and Minnie Mayo (Blankenship) Gaddis; and brother, Cowboy Gaddis.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Gaddis of Marthaville, LA; son, Buddy Gaddis of Marthaville, LA; sisters-in-law, Bennie Rhodes of Natchitoches, LA and Cookie Reeve and husband Jimmy of Marthaville, LA; brother-in-law, Charlie Wagley of Ducken, AZ; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be: Randy Byrd, Randy Hillard, Tony Sattler, Steve Green, Joseph Rhodes, and James Reeves.
