Karen Meshell Brandon

Karen Brandon went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday April 12th at age 63.

A native of Ebarb, La., she graduated Ebarb High School, later received a degree in accounting. She was retired from SporTran in Shreveport, La. Karen loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, T.J and Pearl Meshell, and her sister Gail.

She is survived by her former husband, Tim Brandon Son, Derrick Brandon and wife, Shelby, sister, Nelda Martinez, husband Scotty, sister Cheryl Raney, husband, Jody.

She loved her Grandchildren, Talan and Ryan, which she was affectionally known as “Mee Maw” Also, a host of Nieces and Nephews that adored her Alyssa Thompson, (Michelle), Wink Martinez, (Mallory) Trevor Raney (Susan) and Julianne Taylor (Cody) Great nieces Sofia and Amelia Thompson, great nephew, Miles Martinez Visitation will be at Warren Meadows in Zwolle, La on Saturday, April 15th at 12 pm until 2pm. A rosary led by Mrs. Ione Durr will be recited at 2pm. A burial will be held at a later date at St Ann’s cemetery in Ebarb, La.
