Funeral services honoring the life of Bruce Wyatt McMillian, 60 of Florien, Louisiana will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Many, Louisiana with interment to follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Florien, Louisiana. His visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Zion Hill Baptist Church beginning at 5:00 p.m. Officiating his services will be Bro. Wayne Chance along with Bro. Jimmy Glover.

Bruce was born on October 21, 1961 in Many, Louisiana to David Wyatt McMillian and Janell Wright McMillian. Preceding him in death are his father, David “Buddy Mac” Wyatt McMillian; and his wife, Tina Renee Funderburk McMillian. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Janell Wright McMillian of Many, LA; his son, Bradly McMillian and wife, Tanya of Florien, LA; his sister, Sheila Branam and husband, Kerry of Many, LA; his brothers, Jason McMillian of Many, LA and Brent McMillian of Many, LA; and his grandchildren, Brayden McMillian, Makayla Jordan, Sommer Jordan, and Tucker McMillian; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

Bruce was a hard-working man all of his life. He built a career in the oil industry beginning in an entry-level position working his way up to being a company man overseeing many workers on his hitches. During his 40+ years in the industry Bruce has worked with a lot of individuals that he considered to be friends and family. He loved going to rodeos and spending time at the fox pens. In addition, his love for his family was evident any time you saw them together.

Honoring him as pallbearers will be Cade Pilcher, Allen Fullerton, Buggs Veuleman, Terry Westfall, Jason McMillian, Brent McMillian, Randy Moore, and Brent McMillian, Jr. Honorary pallbearers include Kerry Branam, Brayden McMillian, Tucker McMillian, Emmitt Calais, David Brown, Daniel Brown, Keith Brown, Lamar Mitchell, and Aaron Mitchell.
