Robert Lee Riggs

Services for Robert Lee Riggs, 46, of Many, Louisiana, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2022 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Todd Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Robert was born February 4, 1976 in Houston, Texas, the son of Brenda Riggs and the late Henry Charles Riggs. He passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 in a La-Fayette, Louisiana hospital.

Robert was a devoted father and son. He enjoyed fishing and was all about antique cars and music. He was an automobile mechanic.

Survivors include his children, Riley Lawrence Riggs and Landri Nicole Riggs; mother, Brenda Riggs; sister, Wendy Nicole Riggs; mother of his children, Traci Riggs; special uncles, Doyle Davis and Tom Lewis; and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will be Troy Culbertson, Nick Culbertson, Ben Culbertson, Lee Daugherty, Erik Lewis and Max Lewis.

Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Wallace, Joe Walker, Greg Wallace, Richard Dominey, Todd Sullivan and Charles Thacker.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robert’s memory may be made to the Sabine Parrish Animal Shelter, 520 McDonald Drive, Many, LA 71449; or to the Taylor House, 580 W. Main, Many, LA 71449.
