Lela Gail Greer was born on Sunday, October 28, 1956 in Shreveport, LA. She passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at her residence in Many, LA.

Gail was a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. Above all she had a love for God. She loved to spread the word of God in acts of kindness. She was always thinking of others and how she could help change their life with kind words. She would keep pockets full of crosses and tokens to give strangers and bring a smile to their face. She found ways to let those around her know God loved them. One of her fondest memories was spending time on a missionary trip to Ireland. She enjoyed music and to dance for the Lord. She loved her time in Tennessee where she was a part of a women’s ministry.

Gail loved her family with every beat of her heart. Her husband was her best friend and companion. She was proud of her children and never left room for doubt. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her world. She would brag to anyone that would listen about their smallest accomplishments.

Gail will be greatly missed by so many people. She has touched and changed countless lives. She was truly selfless. She was compassionate. She loved with every part of her heart and soul. She has left this world leaving those who knew and loved her forever incomplete.

We take some peace in knowing she has embraced the loving arms of her Heavenly Father. She has been reunited with all those who have entered heavens gates before her. She is dancing and rejoicing knowing we will all meet again one day. Until then we will think of her every day and continue to make her proud. This is not good bye but see you later.
