Funeral services for Marilyn Garcie, 56, of Zwolle, LA, will be held on Monday, September 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Keith Garvin officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at 5:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Zwolle, LA.

Marilyn Kay Garcie was born on Wednesday, August 10, 1966 in Zwolle, LA. She passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Toledo Nursing Center in Zwolle, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Joseph Garcie, Jr. and Linda Sue (Ragsdale) Garcie; step-mother, Elizabeth Bea Williams; sister, Jeanell Irene Mitchell; aunt, Elouise Williamson; nephew, Phillip James Sepulvado; and her brother-in-law, David Leslie Sepulvado.

Marilyn graduated from Ebarb High School in 1986. She was always ready to go when someone said “Go”! Marilyn loved to dance, play bingo and slots at Boomtown until her health failed her and went blind and ended up at Toledo Nursing Center. The family would like to thank Hospice, Many Dialysis and Toledo Nursing Center for their loving care.

She is survived by her sister, Ann Sepulvado of Zwolle, LA; half-sister, Nancy Lindsey of Houston, TX; brothers, Joseph Pat Garcie of Zwolle, LA and David Lynn Garcie and wife Cindy of Converse, LA; aunt, Virginia Vines of Shreveport, LA; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers: Sean Garcie, Anthony Garcie, Austin Sepulvado, Nick Sepulvado, Kevin Vines and Charles Williamson.

Honorary Pallbearers: David Sepulvado, Titan Sepulvado, Dawson Sepulvado, Noah Sepulvado, Rexleigh Sepulvado, Weston Vines, Alexa Vines, Jason Garcie, Peyton Garcie and Emily Garcie.
