Funeral services for Delories Wright, 81, of Florien, LA, will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Chance and Bro. Roger Matkin officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many, LA.

Delories Wright was born on Sunday, June 29, 1941 in Robeline, LA. She passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at her residence in Florien, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivy and Artie Veuleman; and her brothers, Swepton Veuleman and Buddy Veuleman. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Richard Wright of Florien, LA; son, Wendell Wright and wife Alicia of Many, LA; daughter, Susie Wright and Darrell Sepulvado of Florien, LA; grandchildren: Derek Anthony and wife Lauren of Many, LA, Kresha Matkin and husband Brad of Robeline, LA, Taryn Brooks and husband Derrick of Florien, LA, Stormie Pilcher and husband Brody of Florien, LA, Stephanie Speight and husband Nathan of Florien, LA and Taylor Wright of Florien, LA; along with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers: Derek Anthony, Brody Pilcher, Brad Matkin, Blake Matkin, Derrick Brooks and Nathan Speight. Honorary Pallbearers: Darrell Sepulvado, Earl Rains, Roy “TeTi” Horn and Jerry Wright.
