Patsye Belisle Crocker

Funeral services for Patsye Belisle Crocker, 87, of Zwolle, LA, will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM at First Methodist Church of Zwolle with Rev. Janis Anthony and Dwaine Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow in the Zwolle Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 5:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Zwolle LA.

Patsye Belisle Crocker was born in February of 1935 in Many, LA. She passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Willis Knighton Pierremont in Shreveport, LA.

Patsye was an educator for thirty years, teaching in Lake Charles, Ebarb and Zwolle. She was a long-time member of Delta Kappa Gamma and Sabine Retired Teachers Association. She was a long-time member of Zwolle First United Methodist Church serving in such capacities as Sunday School teacher, various committees and the United Methodist Women. Of all the roles she held, her most prized one was being “Nana” to her three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, George Crocker; parents, Byron Paul Belisle and Joanna Helen (Trotter) Belisle; three sisters and one brother.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Crocker and wife Cathey of Houston, TX; daughter, Brenda Frederick of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren: Nathan Crocker and wife McKalah, Joshua Crocker and Annalei Frederick; sister-in-law, Beth Wegener and husband John of Zwolle, LA; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dwaine Hubbard, James Hubbard, Dennis Hubbard, Gary Walsh, Mike Frederick and Edward Jackson.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Zwolle First United Methodist Church or Samaritan’s Purse.
