Funeral services for Mrs. Winnie Webb will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Price officiating and Reverend Gordon Simmons assisting. Burial will follow in the Noble Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many, LA.

Winnie Valrine Ebarb Webb was born Monday, April 4, 1921 past the Hot Wells west of Noble to Wesley Ebarb and Mattie Elliott Latham Ebarb. She celebrated her 101st birthday Sunday April 3, 2022 at Carl and Charlotte Webb’s residence in Stonewall, LA with family attending.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Willis Webb, her parents, Wesley and Mattie Elliott Latham Ebarb and her siblings, Jay Elliott, Jimmy Latham, Jessie Latham, Mittie Latham Moore, Mae Latham Snider, Levi Ebarb, Henry Ebarb, Herbert Ebarb and Annie Mae Ebarb Lofton. Also preceding her were her special nieces, Margie Moore Rike and Dollie Moore Knippers and a special nephew, Sylvester Moore.

She is survived by her children Helen and Troy Webb of Noble, LA, Faye McDonald of Converse, LA, Carl and Charlotte Webb of Stonewall, LA. Grandchildren, Scott Webb (Katie), Dr. Carla Webb (Sara), Micah Webb (Dana), Wesley McDonald, Joey Garcie (Georgia), and Angela Bogues. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Winnie Webb attended Noble High School. She married Willis Webb on July 3, 1948 in Many, LA following his return from WWII. They resided in Noble where Mr. Webb was the Noble Chief of Police for 24 years. Winnie was elected Noble Town Council Alderman and served 1980-1984.

Winnie was a devoted Christian and lived her life according to God’s word. She lived by Philippians 4:6-7.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Winnie was a compassionate, caring person who extended her hospitality to many friends and family entering her home. She baked and shared delicious old fashioned tea cakes, custard pies, chicken and dumplings that were heavenly and served with love!

Pallbearers are: Scott Webb, Micah Webb, Joey Garcie, Wesley McDonald, Charles Moore, Andy Rike and Mike Knippers.

Honorary Pallbearers are: Dolphy Ebarb, Larry Moore, Winston Ebarb, Donald Wayne Ebarb and Mike Ebarb.
