Leara Rogers

Funeral services for Leara Rogers, 89, of Zwolle, LA, will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Keith Garvin officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 4:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Zwolle, LA.

Leara Rogers was born on Monday, January 9, 1933 in Zwolle, LA. She passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Sabine Medical Center in Many, Louisiana.

Leara was a homemaker, she lived for Jesus and her family. She loved big family gatherings with a banquet of food. She also had a love for playing Bingo and socializing with her many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Elvie Parrie; husband, Vain Rogers; sisters, Flora Bass and Elsie King; brothers, Emmit Parrie and James Henry Parrie; son, Randy Rogers; grandsons, Ethan Hunter and Shane Horton; granddaughters, Ashley Rogers and April Bass; and great granddaughter, Emma Hilburn.

She is survived by her children: Debbie Rabon of Noble, LA, Pam Garner of Bossier City, LA, Felicia Bass of Ebarb, LA, Donna Manshack of Noble, LA, Stacey Myers of Converse, LA, Vivian Garcie of Keithville, LA, Daisy Rogers of Zwolle, LA, Gary Bass of San Diego, CA, Greg Bass of Haughton, LA, Sandy Bass of Hobbs, NM, Chris Bass of Zwolle, LA, Clint Bass of Noble, LA, Terry Ray Bass of Pleasant Hill, LA and Nathan Rogers of Many, LA; sisters; Mary Bass, Doris Bass, Joyce Mitchell, Diane Leach, Evone Patnone and Frances Carter; brothers, Leon Parrie and Leroy Parrie; 36 grandchildren, 50+ great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Justin Bass, Benny Meshell, Jr., Trey Hunter, Brent Bass, Nick Bass, John Garcie, Dakota Malmay and Christian Callender.

Honorary Pallbearers: Dalton Rivers, Doug Manshack, Michael Myers, Jack Garner, Larry Garcie and Frank Maranto.
