Funeral services for Elouise Potter, 90, of Florien, LA, will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Andrew Newman and Elder Glen Hardy officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery, Florien, LA. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 5:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, Many, LA.

Elouise Potter was born on Sunday, August 30, 1931 in Marthaville, LA. She passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022 at her home in Florien, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Potter; son, Joseph W. Potter; granddaughter, Janice Potter; father, Elmer Anders; mother, Jewel Buckelew; grandparents, Jim and Emma Howard; sisters, Virginia Clark, Louise Ross, June Fontenot and Jessie Buckelew; brothers, Bob Buckelew, Victor Anders, James “Sap” Anders, Earl Anders and Bob Howard.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Potter of Many, LA.; daughters, Jan Coburn and husband Kenneth of Florien, LA., Fern Ellen Potter of Many, LA., Jerrie Foreman of Olathe, KS., Jennie Potter of Florien, LA., Joy Vallery and husband Billy of Many, LA. and Joan Daniels and husband James of Robeline, LA.; sisters, Peggy Sneed and husband Clyde of Florien, LA., Sandra Stewart and husband Louis of Florien, LA., Hazel Israel and husband Charlie of Hurricane, UT. and Doris Jimmerson of Shreveport, LA.; brother, Jimmy Buckelew of Jonesboro, LA.; 19 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Coburn, John Potter, Andrew Arrelo, Chris Foreman, Josh Slocum and Caden Miller.
