“There is no fair in life and death. If it were, no good men would die young.” – Mitch Albom

Cyndle Rowe Eyre, our much-loved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. She was only 34 years old. She is survived by her two children: Lucas and Sullivan; parents: Richard and Sabina Rowe; two sisters: Leacy Aycock (John) and Chelsea Rowe; grandmother: Patricia Crow; nephew: Tripp Aycock; niece: Allie Aycock; two uncles: David Rowe (Carole) and Chad Crow (Colleen); one aunt: Sandy Maier (Phil); and five cousins: Josh and Logan Crow and Don, Molly, and Addie Rowe.

Today, she is reunited with loved ones gone before her: grandmother: Marjorie Rowe and grandfathers: Don Rowe and Robert Crow.

Cyndle was born on August 5, 1987, in Webster, Texas. She moved to Sabine Parish with her family the Christmas of her 3rd grade year and began her career at Negreet High School. It was said once by one of her teachers that she was one of the smartest students that she had ever taught. Cyndle had a great childhood growing up with her two sisters, her grandparents next door, and her cousins across the road. Maw Maw and Paw Paw Crow built them a tree house in their back yard where she and all the other grandkids would play “Truth or Dare.” Cyndle, Leacy, Chelsea, Logan, and at times Emmy, Sara, KD, and Kat would all practice and record dance videos. They loved the Backstreet Boys and Nsync. They could do all this because the tree house had electricity, air conditioning, and a TV! The Rowe kids loved “living” over at Aunt Colleen and Uncle Chad’s house during the summer enjoying the pool. As a teenager, Cyndle and the others loved jumping off the bridge below the house into the lake. She also enjoyed her job as cart girl at Cypress and playing golf with Paw Paw.

Cyndle loved all things sports from a young age. During her time at Negreet, she played basketball and ran track. She was an outstanding athlete! A fond memory we have is of the time she scored two critical free throws in a state playoff game as a 7th grader. She helped the Lady Indians win State Runner Up two different years while in high school. Cyndle also played AAU travel ball and attended multiple summer camps and leagues with Maw Maw and Paw Paw in tow. They were always her biggest fans! She graduated from Negreet High School in 2006.

Cyndle attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she continued her love of sports through her college years. She was a Diamond Darling for the ULL Baseball Team for 2 years. Cyndle also enjoyed watching the Ragin’ Cajuns play football in the fall. She attended music festivals throughout the city. The music soothed her soul! Her favorite was Festival International, and she went every year.

After graduating from ULL, she still enjoyed taking Lucas to the games. By now, she had fallen in love with south Louisiana not only enjoying the music but also the cuisine. She loved crawfish! Her first job as an adult was in accounting.

When Cyndle decided to move back home with her two boys, she got a job teaching at Zwolle High School. I think here she found her true calling. She loved supporting the Zwolle Hawks and the other local teams.

Cyndle’s greatest accomplishment was her children: Lucas and Sully. She would fight to the end of the earth for her kids, and she did! To some, it looks like her battle is over and she lost, but what she really did was she finished her part of the race! She passed the baton to her family! She showed us how precious life is and she gave us more love than we could have ever imagined. Cyndle Catherine reminded us of what truly matters in this world and that is family.

Pallbearers are John Aycock, Josh Crow, Logan Crow, Collyn Crow, Clayton Crow, and Mark Delahoussaye.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Siloam Baptist Church, 35432 Hwy. 191, Many, LA. Visitation will also be held at Siloam Baptist Church from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Burial will be in the Lakeside Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude in Cyndle Rowe Eyre’s name.
