Linda Beth Mullinax Bostic

Funeral services for Linda Beth Mullinax Bostic, 87, of Marthaville, LA, will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Union Baptist Church Belmont with Rev. John Lewing II officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Monday, January 10, 2022, at 9:00 AM at Union Baptist Church.

Mama, Aunt Linda, but known to all as just Granny.

She kept her days busy crafting, reading, sewing, and working on her puzzles.

She loved God and all her family. She had a servant’s heart with a special place in it for children, working in the Sunday School Department of her church for many years. She raised three children and helped with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a love of nature and liked watching out her window for birds of all kinds, deer, and even a mama fox with her baby who lived under her barn. She kept a watchful eye out for the cows and calves in the pasture. Granny raised dogs and miniature horses for years. She was a walking dictionary and a wealth of information that will be lost forever. Granny was greatly loved and will be missed by all.

Granny was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Eunice Mullinax of Rockport, Tx., husband of 46 years John E. Bostic, daughter-in-law Janice Bostic, granddaughter Jennifer Bostic, and great grandson Gattlin Isgitt.

Survived by her children Patricia Lawrence, John Mark Bostic, Marcia Isgitt and husband Richard. Along with 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers: Payton Isgitt, Joseph Bradley, Navy Britt, Rusty Britt, Dennis Crumpton, and Wade Britt.

Donations can be made in her honor to Belmont Union Baptist Church or Belmont Union Christian Academy.
