Funeral services for Lena Faye Craig, 81, of Pleasant Hill, LA, will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Spring Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Marshall Ingle and Rev. Glenn Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Spring Ridge Baptist Church, Pleasant Hill, LA.

Lena Faye Craig was born on Saturday, October 26, 1940 in Pleasant Hill, LA. She passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2022 at her residence in Pleasant Hill, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Braxton Chapman and Roma Ann (Phillips) Chapman; brother, Druce Chapman; sister, Maxine Chapman; half-brothers, Dub Neasom and J. B. Chapman; and her half-sisters, Inez McCullough and Vera Goings.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years William (Gene) Craig of Pleasant Hill, LA; children: Jeff Craig of Mansfield, LA, Kim Craig of New Orleans, LA, Brent Craig and wife Amy of Pineville, LA and nine foster children; brothers, Wendell Chapman and wife Linda of Chandler, TX and Jimmy Chapman and wife Wanda of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren: Meagan Huffstickler and husband Drew, Taylor Johnson and husband Jordan, Madison Craig and fiancé Dylan, Baxter Craig and wife Gabi, Braxton Craig and Jaxon Craig; great grandchildren: Brooks Johnson, Finley Johnson, Hollis Johnson, Wyatt Huffstickler, Collins Huffstickler and Isabella Craig; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers: Buddy Free, Kenny Allen, Bob Hight, Baxter Craig, Braxton Craig and Jaxon Craig.

Honorary Pallbearers: Carroll Ellzey and L. H. Williams.
