Attending car shows and camping with his family were two of his greatest joys in life. He also enjoyed attending church with his family and spending time together afterwards.

Funeral services were held on October 3, 2021 at Provencal United Pentecostal Church, with Reverend Paul Grace officiating. Burial followed in the Florien Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ronald Dockens, Reggie Green, Caleb Dockens, Christopher Burnell, Jacob Adams, Billy Colston, Victor Lee, and Shanna Green. Honorary pallbearer is Shawn (Sonny) Erwin.
