Bro. Howard Pennington

Funeral services for Bro. Howard Pennington, 74, of Many were held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Emmanuel Gospel Pentecostal Church with Bro. Gordon Simmons and Bro. Darrell Simmons officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Knot Cemetery.

Bro. Howard Pennington was born on Tuesday, October 8, 1946 in Norway, Michigan. He passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at his residence in Many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Myrtle Pennington; and his brother, Walter “Buddy” Pennington.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Pennington of Many; children, Molly Wilcox and husband Kenneth of Rhinelander, Wisconsin; Paul Pennington and wife Elizabeth of Vail, Arizona; Cindy Simmons and husband Darrell of Many; Lou Young and husband Greg of Florien; granddaughters, Samantha; Amanda and Allison Simmons of Many; Madeline Pennington of Vail, Arizona; Jessica and Keri Wilcox of Columbia, Tennessee; grandsons, Matthew Wilcox; Jonathan Wilcox and wife Laura of Rhinelander, Wisconsin; Greg Young, Jr. of Florien; great grandchildren, Jedidiah; Warren; Seth; Patrick and Lily Wilcox of Rhinelander, Wisconsin; Jacie and Raylee Young of Florien; grand puppies, Daisy Mae Young and Jasmine Simmons; sisters, Patty Zander and husband Chuck; Nancy Buckholtz; Della Cardella and husband Dominick all of Wisconsin; brothers, Dean Pennington and wife Patty; Davey Pennington all of Wisconsin; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers: Kenny Wilcox, Greg Young, Darrell Simmons, Paul Pennington, Lynn Oxley, Danny Henderson, Greg Young, Jr. and Jedidiah Wilcox.

Honorary Pallbearers: Samantha Simmons, Amanda Simmons, Allison Simmons and Madeline Pennington.
