Doyle Steven Simpson (Steve) was a loving father and was considered a gentle giant among all who knew him. He served in the Air Force. He enjoyed traveling with his mother on genealogy adventures. He loved his children immensely and was always thinking of his grandchildren. He used to sing in the choir at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle alongside his mother and his daughter, Erin. He loved watching TV, going to the movies, and eating at Trail Boss in Natchitoches. He loved his steak rare, his Honey Buns and fudgesicles sweet. He wanted his Cokes, then, Diet Cokes and finally Pepsis-iced cold. He was a one-of-a-kind man, a GREAT man. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, who loved him.
