Hazel Mae Faircloth

Funeral services for Hazel Faircloth, 88, of Zwolle, were held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Tim Hurd officiating. Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery.

Hazel Mae Faircloth was born on Friday, April 15, 1932 in Zwolle. She passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Willis Knighton Pierremont in Shreveport.

The phrase, “To know her, was to love her” is quite touché. In actuality, “To know her, was to know what it was liked to be loved.” Our mother/grandmother was definitely one of God’s finest. Her size was tiny, but her love and strength were mightier than could ever be explained or defined. She loved unconditionally and without end until her last breath. Her personality…quiet, but the effect of her silence, smile, and love was immeasurable. Anyone could find refuge in her presence and infamous hugs. She welcomed ALL in her home and always made sure they were full of love and food when they departed. We are truly blessed with the time we had with her on this earth, but even more grateful that we have been able to share her magnitude with so many others. She has a long line of heritage to leave behind, but endless family outside our family that she has acquired along the way. She has become “Momo Honey” to more than just our biological family. Oh what a legacy to leave behind-one of the most generous, selfless, beautiful, precious, loving, and grateful angels on earth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete Ezernack and Josephine (Meshell) Ezernack; husband, Thomas Faircloth Sr.; daughter, Marilyn Faircloth; sons, Jerry Faircloth; Jeff Faircloth; Arthur Faircloth; granddaughters, Mandy Stewart and Casi Ebarb; sons-in-law; Thomas Roy Procell and Glen Ebarb; and six sisters and six brothers.

She is survived by her daughters, Nanette Ebarb and husband Hilton of Zwolle; Sharon Procell and Michael Ebarb of Noble; Alma Ebarb and Jeffery Sepulvado of Zwolle; Charlotte Ezernack and husband Glen of Zwolle; Tina Rivers and husband Keith of Zwolle; Regina Remedies and husband Michael of Converse; son, Randy Faircloth of Noble; thirty grandchildren; a host of great and great great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
