Graveside funeral services for Eula Corley, 90, of Many, were held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Leach, Sr. officiating.

Eula Corley was born on January 23, 1930 in Many. She died on Friday, November 27, 2020 in Many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Monroe Ross and Eula Matlain (Arthur) Ross; husband, John M. Corley; brothers, Edward Columbus “E. C.” Ross; Cecil Clinton “Doc” Ross; William Washington “Bill” Ross; and Allen Monroe “Tink” Ross; sisters, Evelyn Louise Ross; Audrey Katherine “Kat” Derrick; Mable Ross; Alma Lea Edwards; Versia Bernice Williams; and Eva Charlsie Wright; nephews, Orlan Oscar Ross; Randall Gene Ross; Danny Lee Derrick; and grandson, Eric Todd Knippers.

She is survived by her children, Martha Corley Knippers of Many; James Monroe Hembree and wife Sheryl of Many; John Clayton Hembree and wife Tonya of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; sister, Gladys Helen “BeBe” Boice of Shreveport; grandchildren, Curtis Andrew Knippers and wife Ashley; Stephanie Sanca and Donnavon Glenn; Blake Sanca and wife Priscilla; Christopher; Caleb and fiancé Taylor; Hannah; John; Sarah; and Micah Hembree; ten great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Dean loved family especially her grandchildren. She liked to go fishing, bake her famous fried apple and apricot pies, and eat ice cream (vanilla and vanilla bean.)

We would like to thank Sabine Retirement and Rehab Center for their nursing through the years. Also, Hospice of Natchitoches for their care as well. A special thank you to Carolyn “Annette” Holmes for her patience, care, and love for Mom.
