Dannon spent his early years living in Iran and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He always felt that Dubai was home. In 1984, the family relocated back to the United States and resided in Dallas, Texas before moving to Lafayette in 1988.

Dannon graduated from Comeaux High School in 1990 and later attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (at that time USL). At USL, he was a proud member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity.

Following his time in college, Dannon embarked on a career in the oilfield. This provided him an opportunity to travel the world, spending time living in both Australia and Brazil.

While living in Dallas during his junior high years Dannon met Kelly Griffin who he would later marry and have two sons, Major and Gage.

Dannon was loved my many, life of the party, and passionate about his work in the oilfield! His fellow oilfield workers were his heroes. The only thing he was more passionate about than the oilfield was sharing with anyone and everyone how talented and brilliant his two sons are!

Honorary Pallbearers were Kelly Mahoney, Scott Keeter, Chris Calagna, Ricky Suire, Bruce Taylor, Nic McCormic, Mark Hildebrand, Rick Lawson, Ron Nemec, Bill Chadwick, the late Joe Stimpson, Carl Thorne and Marshall Mahoney and his many hardworking oilfield coworkers.
