Janet Eason passed away in Shreveport after a sudden illness. She was born in Converse and grew up in Many. She was long time resident of Shreveport and retired from Eckerds Pharmacy. Ms. Eason was a devoted Christian who had five children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was an avid cat person who had two special cats, Max and Callie. Ms. Eason was a longlife book reader and loved her trips to the local library. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, in ink, and relished putting complicated puzzles together. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Glenna Mae Eason; sister, Inez Walker; and brothers, James Eason and Wayne Eason. Her living legacy includes her sister-in-law and nephew, Martha and Nathan Eason; children, Charles Marvin Williams, Jr., John Arthur Williams and fiancée, Joyce Roberts, and Rebecca Lynn Adams; grandchildren, David “Trey” Adams, III, Scott Adams and wife, Martha, Alexander and Terra Sikorski, Theodore Akers, Ryan and Aaron Akers; great-grandchildren, Thomas and William Adams; and an “adopted” son, Hal Williams and his girls, Hollan and Camille. It is Ms. Eason’s request to forego a funeral service. There was a graveside gathering of family and friends on November 3 at the Mc- Comic Cemetery in Many.
